Monday 3rd February sees a series of events happening to raise a glass or several in memory of Gary ‘gaz’ Regan.
In November last year the sad news spread of the passing of Gary Regan. The outpouring of emotion was incredible and in the past couple of months hundreds of stories have been told across various social media platforms of how gaz influenced our industry.
While social media is all well and good there is nothing like getting together, having a drink and sharing those stories in person. This coming Monday gives you the opportunity to do just that, with events planned in London, Edinburgh, New York & Sydney (we will update this with others as and when we find out about them).
London will be taking place downstairs at The Distillery (186 Portobello Road) hosted by Jake Burger with support from Campari UK and Portobello Gin. Kicking off at 6:30pm.
Edinburgh will be hosted by Iain ‘Yan’ McPherson at Panda & Sons (79 Queen Street).
Sydney will see the new Fortunate Son (105 Enmore Road) hosting with Jason Crawley.
New York is a more private affair so we will leave it to you to know the right people to find out the details on that one.
If you cannot make it to any of these events have your own, grab a couple of mates, make a couple of Negronis and tell some tales.
As Jake put it, ‘Join us for an evening of finger stirred Negronis and other scandalous libations; celebrating the life and times of a true icon of bar culture. Gaz Regan.’
